Y Reading Club @ Metta School
Event Description:

 

Metta School provides special education for students who are mildly intellectually disabled. The students in Metta School are 15-17 years old but are slower in learning and have lower IQs (IQ range of 50-70) than the main stream students, as such the materials used for the class will be primary school (P3 – P5) materials. We will pair you up with 1-2 students and your role will be coaching him/her with the workbook given to them. The program is conducted on a weekly basis, Fridays 2pm-5pm

 

2.00pm-2.30pm: Briefing of volunteers
2.30pm-3.30pm: Tuition
3.30pm -3.45pm: Break
3.45pm-4.30pm: Tuition
4.30pm-5.00pm: Debrief with volunteers
